Today, I am going to tell you about Amzola, a theme from Fame Themes. Amzola is a beautiful responsive WordPress theme. I have been using this theme for quite some time now. The nifty features and functions of this blog has compelled me to write a review about this responsive theme.

Amzola is developed by Fame themes, as said earlier. Toan Nguyen Minh is the author of the theme. Fame theme is re-branded from the famous website WPshit.  The author works on the philosophy of “Less is more” and therefore his creations are mind-blowing.

Amzola : Behind the design

When it come to describing Amzola WordPress theme, there is only one word that comes to my mind, brilliant. The theme is brilliant when it comes to the design. Toan has done a fabulous job in developing the theme.

Responsiveness

Amzola is 100 percent responsive theme, I checked the responsive behavior of the WP theme on various devices (on the iPad, HTC One and my laptop) and found out the design changes its size and design in a fluid manner. The responsiveness is clearly visible on devices when you try to zoom in and zoom out of the browser.

Superb Featured Post Slider on Amzola

This is the best part of Amzola Theme, Toan has added a new kind of slider for featured post on Amzola. The slider is scroll controlled and people can click horizontally to check the featured articles side by side. It saves a lot of space and time. People can look at all the featured posts in 2-3 seconds.
The featured slider is very beautiful and is retina ready. I tried to use the theme on my iPad and it even looked better on such screen. I totally fell in love with the theme and my iPad’s screen once again .

Amzola’s Navigation panel

The navigation panels on Amzola theme are easy to use and has smooth animated transitions. The navigation panel is made using CSS3 and has ability to add any page, category, tags and social sharing buttons. The navigation bar is easy on the eye and adds class to the theme.
There are two navigation bar in the theme, one is on the header and the other is between the header and body of the theme. The latter one could serve as the archive navigation bar. And the former could be a bar for information about the website and others like Advertisement page, contact form.

Amzola Footer

The footer is designed with SEO in mind. Minimal concept is used here too, to keep the footer clutter free and that’s a good thing (speaking in terms of SEO as well as design wise).  With mobile users taking over the internet, columned footers are getting in the way of providing an awesome user experience.
That said, it is you to decide if you like the theme or not. Is the Footer getting in the way or are you comfortable with the theme.

Amzola WordPress theme reduces the load time of your blog drastically. This is good as Google pays a lot of attention of website load speed and ranks them higher if they load faster than other websites.
